The Universe and Stars bed quilt is comprised of two blocks, the Snowball and Starry Path, and has an assortment of Laurel Burch fabrics by Clothworks as well as other coordinating fabrics from other fabric companies. The quilt is an original by Myra Day. I used Marti Michell’s Starry Path Template Set to make the Starry Path block. The backing, shown in the second picture, features planets and universe. The machine quilting design features planets and stars, and is the design “Shoot for the Stars” by Christy Dillon of mycreativestitches.net. Batting is Quilter’s Dream cotton/blend.

Machine wash cold/lukewarm; machine dry low/medium heat.
